QUESTION: How long does it take between the order date and delivery date of my cabinets?
6-10 weeks.

QUESTION: What is the payment plan for the work that will be done? We ask a weekly payment towards the labor work in progress, plus a weekly payment for materials used on your job.

QUESTION: Why do I have to pay a 15% surcharge on sub-contractors? Gene ascertains good pricing and orders all work done from sub contractors. Gene oversees the work for problems or defects and manages the sub contractors so that you receive the highest quality of work. This oversite lifts worry from you and give you someone in your court who has a practiced eye to understand when a job is done correctly. Your 15% is for the management of the job and the sub-contractor.

QUESTION: What if I want to add something to the job after the letter of agreement is signed? : We can also create an additional rider for the work you would like to complete. You can write out what you would like to have completed and then Gene can figure the proposed price and get back to you. We call this a change order form.

QUESTION: What if I want to order additional cabinets?. That would be great. We ask for all cabinet payments up front prior to order submission to Kraftmaid.

QUESTION: Permits & Plans? Drawing up plans, getting engineering approval, energy efficiency ratings & initial submissions is 5-6weeks. Guiding the plans thru permitting can take an additional 4-8 weeks.

QUESTION: How do I know how my new kitchen will look? You can touch & feel door samples. We provide a CAD schematic of your kitchen that helps you visualize the end results. We can take you through pictures of our completed work that may be similar. And, on occasion, we can tour one of our client's property to see the end result.

QUESTION: How long will my kitchen be 'out of use'? Each job is unique. We can give you an estimate of timing for every job.

QUESTION: Can you help w/materials or fixture purchases? We extend our 5-10% contractors discount for flooring, fixtures, appliances, doors, windows, lighting, harware, tile, granite, countertops, etc. Everything from foundation to rooftop is in our subcontractor system. We can help you coordinate all your purchases.

QUESTION: How will I know what my budget will be for the job? We can sit down & scope out all of the costs with you. Our fee is $250 which will be refunded to you letter of agreement once you sign up.
